Picasso At The Lapin Agile

Please note that all of our shows are currently sold out.  If you are looking to get tickets, we have added a few seats into our shows.  Please fill out our waiting list indicating what performances you are able to attend and we will contact you if we are able to fit you into any of our performances.  Our last three showtimes are:

This long running Off-Broadway absurdist comedy places Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso in a Parisian cafe in 1904, just before the renowned scientist transformed physics with his theory of relativity and the celebrated painter set the art world afire with cubism. In his first comedy for the stage, the popular actor and screenwriter plays fast and loose with fact, fame and fortune as these two geniuses muse on the century’s achievements and prospects as well as other fanciful topics with infectious dizziness. Bystanders, including Picasso’ agent, the bartender and his mistress, Picasso’s date, an elderly philosopher and an idiot inventor introduce additional flourishes of humor.

Presented at Masquerade Theatre Studios January 26-February 3.

 

*Please note that we have 2 "Pay What You Can" nights on Thursday, February 1st and Friday, February 2nd.  We believe that everyone should have access to great theatre!  Tickets are normally priced at $20, but if you're a little low on funds, pay what you're able to!  Or if you're feeling generous, give a little more!  We'll have QR codes and places to drop cash should you want to add a little extra after the show.

 

Refund Policy: There are no refunds for tickets purchased but we do offer free exchanges within the same production.  Simply email the box office at boxoffice@masqueradetheatre.org with your request.
