You probably know Sarah Woods, or at least her wonderful pastries and baked goods, from her offerings at Gathered Bakeshop & Market here in Astoria. Sarah uses locally sourced ingredients, honors a wide variety of diets, and executes her work with meticulous attention and care. Join her in this class as we dive into the world of pies.
Students will learn how to make Gathered’s classic all-butter pie dough, then will roll their own sweet & savory hand pies, exploring different techniques, shapes & fillings. Students will take home the pastries created in class.
