Description
Planting Pre-K is a nature-based program for children ages two to five and their caregivers, hosted on the farm at Keiki and Plow. This small group program, led by educator Jillian Gold, will run on Fridays for six weeks with a purpose of nurturing your child's curiosity, strengthening roots of connection to self, others, and nature, while embracing the wild of these wonderful early years.
An expansion of our toddler program, Planting Pre-K offers families with young children an opportunity to build experiences alongside their keiki, serving as a bridge from tender toddlerhood to spirited school age. This program supports preschoolers’ growing interests in collaborative play, mindful movement, practical and craft activities, planting & harvesting, cooking nourishing snacks, caring for animals; while developing comfort and confidence in being part of a group dynamic."
Our "Planting Pre-K" Friday program differs from "Tending to Tots" in these key ways:
- Planting Pre-K is structured to engage a broader age range of children (ages 2-5)
- Classes are 3 hours long, running from 9am-12pm
- Classes are held on Fridays, offering a once a week option for families to integrate this program with their child’s at home or in school early learning.
- Planting Pre-K supports families with multiple young children (we're rolling out sibling discounts!)
