Castlegar Premiere: Poet Laureate

Tickets are by donation with a suggested donation of $10

In this short docu-fiction about failure, Tristan Wheeler sets out on a journey to become the official poet of his hometown of Castlegar, British Columbia. Armed with no literary ability and blind ambition, he learns that recognition and greatness are hard to come by in a town of 9,000.

Poet Laureate will be preceded by a collection of short films, including an unreleased short film by Wheeler. The night will be capped off with a director Q&A.
