We are excited to offer a place for consumers to shop safely while supporting Black-Owned Businesses
The Pop-Up Experience is a POWER HOUR of sampling delicious food & drinks from one of our local Chefs & Bakers, Come, taste and shop & have an amazing time in unity, safely together!
Safety is our #1 concern: This is a MASK REQUIRED event except when you are sampling the food of course. We have built-in one-hour breaks to properly clean and sanitize the venue in between Shop Blocks. All Guests will have their temperature taken before entry and sanitizer & hand wipes will be available throughout the venue.
Our guests may purchase tickets to shop in available SHOP BLOCKS. During your SHOP BLOCK, you are welcome to sample and shop from our Featured Chefs, Bakers & Beverage Merchants.
Your admission ticket will include a 1-hour admission Shop Block and an Expo bag.
Add on Black Spirits Tasting – Taste samples of both local and out-of-state black-owned liquor and wine.
Add on Adult Beverage Ticket – Get a curated Signature Drink from our featured bartender.
Things to know for an enjoyable experience:
- There is a capacity per Shop Block so every person MUST have a ticket, yes even children.
- You must arrive during your hour and we must clear the venue at the end of your hour.
- If you miss your hour, you can try to order ToGo for curbside pickup but there are no guarantees, no exceptions.
- Come ready to shop, download payments apps such as Cashapp, & venmo for faster transactions.

COVID-19 SAFETY INFORMATION:
While participating in events held or sponsored by Urbn Ridge and Black Food and Dessert Expo, LLC (“BFADE”) “social distancing” must be practiced and face coverings worn at all times to reduce the risks of exposure to COVID-19. Because COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is spread mainly from person-to-person contact, BFADE has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. However, BFADE cannot guarantee that its participants, volunteers, vendors, or others in attendance will not become infected with COVID-19.
In light of the ongoing spread of COVID-19, individuals who fall within any of the categories below should not engage in BFADE events and/or other face-to-face activities. By attending the Pop-Up Exprience, you certify that you do not fall into any of the following categories:
1. Individuals who currently or within the past fourteen (14) days have experienced any symptoms associated with COVID-19, which include fever, cough, and shortness of breath among others;
2. Individuals who have traveled at any point in the past fourteen (14) days either internationally or to a community in the U.S. that has experienced or is experiencing sustained community spread of COVID-19; or
3. Individuals who believe that they may have been exposed to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and are not yet cleared as non-contagious by state or local public health authorities or the health care team responsible for their treatment.
