We invite you to join us for a workshop to explore the potential for a twinning program with East Sussex Farmers, Procurers and Schools & Community Groups.
This initiative aims to foster stronger connections between buyers and producers, ensuring a more sustainable and ethical food supply chain.
During this workshop, we will delve into the procurement process and discuss the specific needs of buyers to effectively engage in the twinning program.
Key topics will include:
- Exploring the benefits and challenges of purchasing directly from farmers
- Understanding requirements when placing orders and managing current contracts
- What you would be interested in procuring locally

This pilot project is being coordinated by The Brighton & Hove Food Partnership and is in partnership with Food Matters, Wealden Food Partnership / 3VA, Sussex Community Development Association/ Lewes Food Partnership, East Sussex County Council (Public Health Team) and Brighton & Hove City Council (Public Health Team).
