Producer of unique comedy events in the 828!
Description
Join us for a unique theatrical experience! Quality Service, by Joe Carroll, is a one-man comedic exploration into the mind of a “people pleaser.” Blending improv, sketch comedy, storytelling and audience participation, Quality Service is about the challenges of adapting to a world out of balance, a world that can feel cold and impersonal, as technology seems to drive us further apart.
Written and performed by improv comedy virtuoso, Joe Carroll, Quality Service plays with the idea of being of service to others, all the while highlighting the absurdity of pathological people pleasing. “In order to live up to the expectations of others, one must sacrifice a part of themselves,” Carroll says. “How does one reclaim those pieces lost?”
Staged at the beautiful Asheville Masonic Temple, this is a show you won't want to miss!
Written and performed by Joe Carroll, directed by Carin Metzger.
