Description
This is the second of our two-part opening reception for our newest exhibit, "Quantum Sensation", featuring renowned artist Sahand Tabatabai. (Please register so we can get a proper headcount for preparation.) Sahand has exhibited his artwork for decades around the globe - including here in Denver, landing on the cover of the Denver Art Museum's magazine. While his artwork is related to Josh's in terms of the abstract, his is a completely different visual rhythm. As a youth, he found himself using linear brush strokes in his figurative paintings that have evolved into a nearly 3-dimensional visual of light and dark. His abstracts explore the concepts of ancestry, immigration, quantum physics and spirituality as you will see at this immersive exhibit opening!
