Registration for Quilt Camp 2024 is Closed. We hope to see you next summer in June 2025!
Quilt Camp is for youth ages 7-17 interested in quilting! Each session is 4 days (Mon.-Thurs.) for 2.5 hours each day. Campers will learn quilting skills and techniques while using sewing machines to create their own quilt from start to finish. Campers in all sessions will explore the exhibits in the museum galleries each day. All materials & instruction are provided, along with a small snack (such as lemonade & pretzels,/goldfish/animal crackers/etc).

Quilt Camp Levels
Beginner Camp: Ages 7-17 There are 4 sessions available so choose the one that fits your schedule best. All Beginner sessions will make the same project. Beginner quilters focus on the basics of quilting such as machine piecing, ironing, and finishing the quilt.
Beginner Sessions:
Beginner I - June 10-13 9:30am - 12:00pm
Beginner II - June 10-13 2:00pm-4:30pm
Beginner III - June 24-27 9:30am - 12:00pm
Beginner IV - June 24-27 2:00pm-4:30pm
Intermediate Camp: Ages 11-17 Minimum of 2 years of Beginner Camp or similar sewing experience. In addition to skills from Beginner level, Intermediate campers learn how to safely use a rotary cutter, how to cut and measure their fabrics.
Intermediate Session: June 17-20 9:30am - 12:00pm
Advanced Camp: Ages 13-17 Minimum of 2 years of Intermediate Camp, or ability to safely use a rotary cutter. Advanced campers continue to hone the skills from previous levels, and explore other types of quilt making such as curved piecing, foundation paper piecing, or other methods that will expand their quilt knowledge.
Advanced Session: June 17-20 2:00pm - 4:30pm
