PAMA MEDIA PRESENTS THE RAINHAS OF COMEDY
An all-women, red carpet stand-up show that will get you to laugh your butt off! Featuring some of the biggest names in Portuguese and Brazilian roots comedy in North America.
PERFORMING AT THE PFSA STAGE...
- VANESSA MEDEIROS - Our Mistress of Ceremonies is well known for her skits on the Portuguese kids, her unique blend of humor, cultural wit, and undeniable charm, Vanessa will bring the house down and make this a night to remember!
- BRUNA PORTUGAL - This Brazilian-born Los Angeles resident, actress, singer, dancer, and of course comedian. She has acted in six theater plays and starred as a lead in three feature films. she is also a proud member of the nonprofit Women In Film.
- JULIANA RODRIGUES - This Canadian-born, half-Portuguese, half-Italian comedian has already made waves at major festivals like Just For Laughs and CBC’s Laugh Out Loud, showcasing her laid-back, sharp, and introspective style. From her beginnings in improv at 14 to becoming a voice for her generation in comedy, Juliana’s fresh perspective and quick wit promise to light up the stage.
- NACYA MARREIRO - Our headliner was born in Portimao, Portugal. Her comedy journey began unexpectedly while working as an international flight attendant in Norway, where she discovered her passion for stand-up. She sharpened her skills through acting classes at prestigious institutions, including the Juilliard alum actress school, Mona Lee, and the Ickey Studio for Screen Acting in Austin, Texas. Nacya’s creativity shines through her creation of “The Riff”, an acclaimed improv stand-up show. Starting in Austin at The Creek and The Cave, traveling to New York City at The Stand, and now thriving in Los Angeles at The Hollywood Improv, The Riff has hosted comedy legends like Joe Rogan, TJ Miller, Big Jay, and Tiffany Haddish.
