Ray Fister is the producer of the “Life Between the Vines” podcast, the longest running wine podcast and online newsletter, aiming to make wine less intimidating by interviewing winemakers from all over the world and telling their stories. The podcast was started in 2008 and has launched over 500 programs and 400 videos. Ray Fister is an audio engineer and has worked for various companies all over the world.

In a new book, “Vino Lingo”, wine writer Ray Fister takes readers on a journey through wine country and the terminology that makes the industry so unique. Each page in the book will feature a different winemaker from around the world, including our very own winemaker Steve, and their corresponding favorite wine-specific jargon, as well as a personal account or story about what the word or phrase means in the world of wine. Fister will be at Door 44 Winery on Saturday April 29, at 1pm, he will be entertaining us with his stories, interviewing our winemaker Steve, answering questions and signing his book, “Vino Lingo” that will be available for purchase.

Join us that day for an entertaining afternoon of stories and fun! Each attendee will receive a complementary glass of our famous sparkling wine. No fee to attendee, but we ask you to sign up as seating is limited. Please arrive by 12:45, with presentation to begin at 1pm.
