Description

Join us to learn more about the first integrated regiment in the Continental Army, the Rhode Island 1st Regiment. The bravery of its soldiers, including free and enslaved Black and Indigenous men, helped secure American freedom in major battles including Bunker Hill, Trenton, the Battle of RI, and Yorktown.

Free lessons, resources, a letter for 1 1/2 hours of professional development points, and a $100 stipend will be provided for all educators attending.
