Roger Williams - the Keys to His Success, with songs played on the Roger Williams Steinway by request Roger Williams (1924-2011), the greatest-selling pianist in history, performed for nine American presidents, earning him the title, “Pianist to the Presidents.” Williams who performed locally at the Nixon Library and Crystal Cathedral, is being honored with a centennial concert of his American Songbook recordings by the CSO and guest pianists, in partnership with the Richard Nixon Foundation, the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum, and Concordia's Center for Civics Education. The concert opens with George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" followed by additional songs using his arrangements in cooperation with the Roger Williams estate.

Roger Williams (1924-2011), pianist for nine American presidents and Orange County resident, is remembered for his American Songbook recordings, including "Autumn Leaves" in 1955, which is the only instrumental to reach #1 on the Billboard popular music charts. The Sinfonietta partners with the Richard Nixon Library to present a special concert of musical arrangements, shared exclusively by the Roger Williams estate.
