ROY DARBY:
Originally from Ballarat, Roy Darby and his band are stepping up to the podium at Trades Hall, Camp St in an act of defiance and reliance (the band's job) to send off his new single 'Six String Lady' along with other crowd surfers, knee jerkers and eye ballers THIS SATURDAY NIGHT...
No penguins, people or bandmates of Roy Darby Enterprises were kidnapped or harmed in the making of the song or during performances.
TREVOR LUDLOW and THE HELLRAISERS:
Trevor Ludlow & The Hellraisers met before the dawn of time in front of a large black monolith from which no light seemed to emanate. Upon touching the alien artefact - words and music began to coalesce in the primitive minds of Trevor, Jane and Pat. Using their new found wisdom they wrote many songs which made the primitive tribal factions cower in fear whenever they heard these strange vibrations… Several millennia passed, with Pat playing in acclaimed Ballarat band Dead Salesmen, Jane playing in Melbourne band The Foots, and Trevor playing in Brisbane bands Biro and Gentle Ben and His Sensitive Side. Nothing, however, surpassed the power and majesty of The Hellraisers… a supergroup for the new millennium, which has already released several acclaimed albums including ‘Experts’, ‘A History of Albanian Jazz’ and ‘Albuquerque’… catch them live and expand your cosmic horizons!
