The band has been described as good honest rock music and compared to artists including Jason Isbell and Modest Mouse, with far-reaching influences crawling out of the woodwork. Royal Oaks write music as a team with three lyricists drawing from a diverse palette of sounds, stories and turmoil’s of life. They’ve shared the stage throughout NorCal and Nevada with Chuck Ragan, Rocky Votolato and The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band, as well as groups in their hometown of Chico.
