Date: Oct 28
If you're new to pottery, handbuilding is a very approachable way to get to know clay as an artistic medium.
Class is Saturday, Oct 28 from 1-3:30PM. These classes are project-based and this project is to make slab-built charcuterie boards.
Includes 2.5 hours of hands-on instruction, use of community tools, clay, and underglazes and slips, and firing for the finished project.
Handbuilding, which includes slab building, pinching, and coiling, is a traditional method of creating with clay in which you use your hands and a variety of tools to form the clay, NOT a pottery wheel.
