Share Thank you for visiting the Shafter Ford Theater website! We are honored to have you. A little bit about us: we are a small town theater arts building in Shafter, CA. We host concerts, musicals, plays, business meetings, banquets and more! Our building holds about 300 people, which creates a very intimate setting for performances. In our six years of being open, we have been lucky enough to host many amazing musicians, such as Jon Foreman, Danny Gokey, Jars of Clay, and many more. We are home to the Shafter Children's Summer Theater and the Shafter Young Adult's Theater, run by Cris Starrh. We have held 6 of Larry Starrh's original musicals. In addition, we've hosted many business events, weddings, proms, bridal showers, and birthday parties. We are so thankful to the citizens of Shafter for their continued support and we hope you will consider us when searching for a fun place to stop in Shafter!

Shafter Children's Summer Theater presents Seussical the Musical Jr. New to SCST, we have expanded and created a new program, Rising Stars, a program geared to K-2 grades with music, dancing and acting made just for them! This year our Rising Stars program will begin the show with their very own featurette, one that was specially written for them to match the Seussical fun of the children's theater. Our program will consist of starting with the Rising Stars show, intermission, followed by our feature program with Shafter Children's Summer Theater of Seussical.
We want to thank you for taking the time to support our program and the kids who pour their heart out for the shows. We couldn't be here without the support of each parent, grandparent, community member and friends! Now sit back, relax and enjoy the show.
