Shaping Disability is an official Global Shapers Community cross-hub initiative. At this time, it is only for the Global Shapers Community. Active Shapers and alumni are welcome to attend.
The purpose of this Summit is to raise awareness and take action to create safe and accessible spaces for disabled Shapers and members of our hub communities.
Shapers participating will leave with knowledge, resources, and an understanding of what accessibility means and looks like in their hub, workplace, school, and other community spaces.
The committee is prioritizing an interactive and fun event. We recognize how heavy these topics can be and our goal is to make sure we share information in a way that feels uplifting and encouraging for us all to make a change.

We’ll have games, prizes, and the chance for you to develop relationships with more of the Shaper community.
The summit will be in English. We are exploring sign language and translator options to make this more accessible to the global community.

The in-person ticket purchases include a place to stay and most meals.

- Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday

A portion of the ticket sales also pay for speakers, venue rental, and the costs outlined above.
If you plan to attend in person, you will need to purchase your airfare or ensure other transportation.
Please be aware that if you plan on arriving early or staying later, this will not be included in the ticket price and you will be required to plan and pay for it separately.
The virtual ticket purchases allow Shapers and alumni to participate without being in person.
