Learn about the science behind snowshoes and the local animal species that have been using this science to their advantage for thousands of years. Then, join us in a snowshoe tour of the National Park!

Share Explore our National Park in a fun and exciting way! Join the Dunes Learning Center team in a two hour program packed with fun for the whole family. We will start our time together breaking down the science behind snowshoes followed by a snowshoe walk. The snowshoe walk will be around 1 hour and 15 minutes and take place on relatively flat terrain. This event is limited to participants 10 years of age and older.
Tickets are sold on a first come first serve basis based on snowshoe size - until supplies last.
If there isn't enough snow on the ground at the time of the program don't fear - The snowshoe portion of the program will be substituted with a guided nature walk!
