Come join us for Friday Night Lit!  Start the evening with the ecllectic sounds of DJ Derrick Smoker.  Smoker then leads the unparalleled Soul Brass Band to the stage.   Soul Brass Band brings the party with great original songs and classics from the New Orleans songbook.  Get your early bird ticket now!  It is a great way to start your weekend.

And if you want dinner!  Big Boyz BBQ will be serving up the good eats.  Join pitmaster extraordinaire Mr Rodney Beals as he serves up his award winning BBQ.  This is one of his fundraisers for his  Hogs for the Cause team, The Pork Funk All Stars.  Every  year Rodney serves up the best BBQ at Hogs for the Cause., and is part of an event that raises money  to support families fighting pediatric brain cancer.  

Come on out for a good time , with a purpose.!

FAQ

  • The showtime listed for the event is the time the event starts. Doors will generally open an hour before the listed show time unless otherwise listed.
      We allow pets during the day, but not at night for music (anything after 7pm). Service animals are always allowed.
  •  Please do not park in the Broad Theater parking lot. We have a parking lot for  The Broadside and plenty street parking available on Toulouse and Lafitte. If you would like to be escorted to your car, please ask the Sheriff on duty. You may also park in the Auto Zone parking lot if they are closed. 
  •  We have a variety of seating options such as benches, picnic tables, chairs, and stools. You are welcome to bring your own chairs, if you require a seat for health reasons or disability, please ask a staff member and they can provide you with a chair.
