I, Filmmaker: A Festival of Self-made Stories celebrates the resilience and creativity of neurodiverse, disabled, D/deaf, and other marginalized artists, showcasing their diverse perspectives and innovative approaches in overcoming barriers to artistic expression. The films and presentations will inspire audiences with stories, pathways and a multitude of free tools that could transform creativity into a sustainable career.

Productions Spectrum

Spectrum Productions is a charitable organization based in Montréal, Québec committed to advancing the social, cultural and economic inclusion of individuals on the autism spectrum by supporting and promoting autistic creative talent in film and media production and the arts.

Founded in 2009 as a single summer camp, Spectrum Productions has evolved into a state-of-the-art studio offering a variety of programs and opportunities that focus on creating a sense of belonging, leadership and community, and providing access to artistic practice, education, and employment in film and media production and the arts.

We strive to provide a platform for the creative voices of the autistic community by disseminating content that highlights the creative, experimental and technical talents of autistic artists and filmmakers. By sharing ideas and creations, increasing exposure and expanding our community we play a vital role in changing the conversation around autism to one of talent, creativity and potential.
