Lewis’ introspective, old-time, grass-tinged songs are driven by his inimitable cross-flat-picking guitar style and Biondo’s epic banjo riffs, which weave and climb in a swirl of melodic tonal modality. Biondo’s guitar and vocals are accompanied by Lewis’ fiddle and violin as they re-interpret traditional roots music in their own freewheelin’ style while EG Bishop plays the fretless electric bass adding another dimension with fearless creativity. A melting pot of Americana and folkthatrocks.

They will be performing music to celebrate the release of Lewis’ latest album, “Of Spirit & Friends,” a collection of ballads commemorating those close to him who have passed and backwoods anthems of life close to the land.

Lewis founded his Quartz Recordings label in 1983. He has performed his music nationally and across the state of Vermont where he has lived and worked for 51 years. As a writer, producer, and recording artist with over 120,000 units sold and 100K+ streams per year, he combines his best-selling instrumental series with the singer-songwriter work that started his career.

Pappy Biondo was a founding member of the Northeast PA (NEPA) based jam-grass band Cabinet, headlining festivals like Delfest and Grayfox. He now lives in Hinesburg with his family and graces many Vermont stages with a plethora of different artists including his own band Hobo.
