Join Tyler “Tylificent” Ross for this month's Community on 14th! This House class is open to all dancers. All levels are welcome!

 

Class Description

In class we'll establish the core fundamentals of House while instilling individuality. While exploring basic/intermediate footwork patterns to a small combination, we will touch on dynamics, creativity, and freestyle within House Dance.

 

About Tyler

Tyler Ross, born and raised in PG County, Maryland, is an Afro- Indigenous movement artist, choreographer, and dance educator. Ross holds a BFA in Dance Education from Temple University Boyer College of Music and Dance. She is Artistic Director  of Culture Shock Freestyle Team with her fellow Director Timothy Keels-Mozon, current company member of Urban Artistry with Junious Brickhouse, Bmore Houseful with Esperonto Bean, & the National Association of American African Dance Teachers (NAAADT) within the Umfundalai Technique.  In the past few years she has been a company member of Laura Edwards Dance Company (LED), MOTUS Company with Diana Matos, Ladies of Redemption, MoDance Work with Monique Walker, and Kariamu & Company: Traditions with Dr. Kariamu Welsh.
