Seed Saving & Land Care for Native Plants
Small urban garden spaces can be tricky. Learn how to design for efficiency and create a garden that does it all - embracing vegetables and native plants together. We'll talk about companion planting, maximizing yields and incorporating plants for pollinator habitat. Courtney will share her favorite multi-functional native species to include in your garden.
11:15-12:15 PM Hands-On Activity Stations
Stop by the various activity stations where you'll learn how to create soil blocks, you can share/swap garden tools, craft seed bombs, learn to support pollinators, create paper pots and explore upcycled options for container planting, check-out seeds from the seed library, and grow your network with garden buddies! All ages welcome.
