Celebrate the arrival of spring with our annual Spring Trains! Each year, you have the chance to experience the seasonal wildflower bloom aboard one of our historic 50-minute Interurban Train Rides.
Aboard our Scenic Coach, enjoy a casual and family-friendly open-air experience in the Sacramento Northern 1020 passenger car. The car features plush red velvet bench seating and large windows—perfect for taking in the beauty of spring. This is a non-alcoholic experience, making it ideal for families and nature lovers of all ages.
Please note that train equipment may change at times due to museum needs.
After your ride, visit our Depot Café where guests 21+ can purchase wine to savor. Then, lounge in our Visitor Center and enjoy seasonal crafts for the kids, making it a perfect outing for everyone.

The Western Railway Museum, along with our Visitor Centers', modern restrooms, Depot Café, car house buildings, and parking lot, meet or exceed the standards set by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Due to the historic nature of our trains, they are not wheelchair accessible and restrooms are not available aboard our trains.
