Description
This is the local Star Wars Unlimited Twilight of the Republic Pre-release Launch event at the New Horizon Mall.
It will be located on the 2nd floor (near Food Court) (main floor South end near the window).
This will be a Prerelease Sealed deck tournament for up to 16 players.
Unfortunately, buying and selling is not permitted in the play area.
We will have up to 2 pods of 6 to 8 players and play for 3 rounds to determine a winner and the top 3 or 4 (depending on win/loss record). Every player will receive 1 Twilight of the Republic pack for each win.
We will allow for one of the groups to play best of 1 games with 25 minutes each and the other to play best of 3 games in 55 minutes.
All participants will receive a Pre-release box set to build their deck for the tournament along with the Pre-release promo cards with leaders and bases, prior to the game beginning.
Details will be confirmed closer to the registration date and could change before that time.
Depending upon what is provided for Launch kit support, Prizes are expected to be:
1 booster for each win and additional boosters depending on placing plus 1 booster for each participant
1st place (3 wins+3) - 6 boosters (including participation booster)
2nd place (2 wins+2) - 4 boosters (including participation booster)
3rd/4th place - 3 boosters (including participation booster)
All players with 1/x will receive 2 boosters
The player with 0/x will receive 1 booster
* In case of ties the number of boosters may be combined to be allocated. For example, if 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, have the same scores, each may get 3 boosters.
** Also, please be aware that going forward (including this event), tournaments will be run under melee.gg, so if you have not already done so, please register your account for Star Wars Unlimited (enter your SWU number) in melee.gg.
*** I will set up for any that have not been entered by the event date. There will be an email confirming that which you can add a username for future use.
