Stepping Into Footwear Design with Trey Williams

Join us for light refreshments and a conversation on a career in footwear design! We will learn about Timberland footwear designer, Trey Williams' journey from the Georgia Tech Industrial Design program to a Footwear design professional. We will also discuss how his experience in design research influences his process today, and how he utilized the programming and network from Pensole Academy to find his way into the Footwear Industry.

 

About Trey Williams

Trey Williams is an accomplished industrial designer with a passion for footwear design and youth empowerment currently designing hiking boots at Timberland. Graduating from Georgia Tech with a degree in Industrial Design in 2012, he further honed his skills at the Pensole Footwear Design Academy, immersing himself in the art and science of footwear design.

As a playmaker with Cnstnt Dvlpmnt (Constant Development), he leads youth design workshops, inspiring the next generation of designers to pursue their passions fearlessly. Beyond his professional pursuits, Trey finds immense fulfillment in being a devoted father, cherishing the joys and responsibilities of parenthood
