Description

As part of the County-wide ‘Fun and Food’ programme, Ushaw will be providing FREE holiday fun and healthy food for children (aged 5-11) in the local community during the school summer holidays.
 

Under the expert guidance of Jo from Abundant Earth, you will work together with your grown up to create a range of willow pieces to take home, including fish and star shapes and a bird feeder. All materials provided, just bring yourself.
 

Willow Weaving will take place from 10am - 12pm on Tuesday 8 August.
 

Please note that the Willow Weaving will take place outside in all but extreme weather conditions (high winds/thunderstorms/severe ice) so please dress accordingly. 
 

The mornings will begin with from 10am where you can select your lunch in Welby's Café
The session begins at 10:30am 
The session finishes at 12pm
Enjoy your picnic from 12pm - 12:45pm
  

We are thrilled to be able to offer these Fun and Food activities over the Summer Holidays, thanks to the support of Mid Durham Area Action Partnership (AAP.) 
 

Please note the lunch is for children only. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult for whom normal admission charges apply.
