Sundays are fun days, so MODA is throwing a party on the second Sunday of the month!

We’re inviting chair enthusiasts young and old to take home a part of our current exhibition, Please Be Seated: A Century of Chair Design, by designing your own seat at the table! 

Inspired by the Shirley Chisholm quote, “If they don’t give you a seat at the table, bring a folding chair,” guests will be able to design and decorate their own chair that expresses their identity or speaks to something that they care about!

 You are welcome to take home your chair design, or add it to our shelves in the side gallery if you plan on visiting our exhibition. 

Sunday Funday visitors can enjoy a reduced-price museum admission of $5 from 1-5 pm.  MODA's interactive chair folding craft on the plaza is free to participate in.
