Share Over the years, a trip to Vala’s Pumpkin Patch has become a cherished tradition for countless families. As we celebrate our 40th year of operation, we are thrilled to welcome a third generation of parents who fondly remember visiting Vala’s as children. As thousands of eager guests flood Vala’s Pumpkin Patch each fall, it’s incredible to reflect on our journey from a small business with a simple vision of creating a family-friendly, farm experience to the beloved destination we are today.

Join us at the U-Pick Apple Shed (located near the Cider Mill), where you will load onto
a tractor ride out to our beautiful orchard led by our Ag Director, who will talk about
Vala’s orchard and apple growing in Nebraska. From there, our Orchard Hosts will greet
you with your first pour and introduce you to the evening’s lineup of delicious
orchard-based ciders. Enjoy an at-your-own-pace tasting, including our brand new
award-winning Autumn’s Harvest and Blueberry Oak Reserve ciders. For the rest of the
evening, pick ripe apples right off the tree, relax around the communal fire pit, play corn
hole, and stroll the beautiful orchard at sunset.
TICKET INCLUDES:
● Tractor Ride to the Orchard with a guided talk
● Four 5 oz bottle pours of Vala’s exclusive orchard-based hard ciders
● Introduction and tasting notes on each of the ciders
● Drink Token for a 12 oz cider pour (or a 5 oz barrel aged cider pour) - to be
redeemed in the orchard or at one of our cider locations across the farm
● Vala’s Souvenir Cider Glass
● 2 lbs of Orchard Apples (1⁄4 peck bag) to pick and take home
● Communal fire pit, corn hole and yard games, and photo ops
● Non-Alcoholic Designated Driver ticket option includes 3 pours of sweet,
non-alcoholic cider (no drink token included)

TIME:
6 pm - 8:30 pm: Hayracks will depart from the U-Pick Apple Shed every 20
minutes between 6 pm and 7:20 pm, with the last rack departing for the orchard at 7:20
pm. The experience is at your-own-pace, typically lasting 1 to 1.5 hours.
COST:
$45 / $21 for Designated Driver + General Admission ticket or Season Pass to Vala’s (Vala's entry ticket must be purchased separately for non-season pass holders)
MORE INFORMATION:
● Must be 21 years of age or older to attend with proof of valid government issued
photo ID for the cider tasting.
● Purchase tickets for this event online.
● The ticket for this event does not include a General Admission ticket to Vala’s,
which must be purchased separately.
● This event is weather dependent and may be rescheduled due to rain. Guests
will get advanced notice by email if the event is rescheduled. The reschedule
date will be the Thursday following the event or October 10th. If you cannot make
the rescheduled date, please call the Vala’s office and you will be credited a
Vala’s gift card in the amount you paid. Gift cards can be picked up at Will Call.
