Join us at the U-Pick Apple Shed (located near the Cider Mill), where you will load onto a tractor ride out to our beautiful orchard led by our Ag Director who will give a guided talk on the history of Vala’s orchard and apple growing in Nebraska. From there, our Orchard Hosts will greet you with your first pour of cider and introduce you to tonight’s lineup of delicious orchard-based ciders. Enjoy an at-your-own-pace tasting, including our brand new award-winning Autumn’s Harvest and Blueberry Oak Reserve ciders. For the rest of the evening, pick ripe apples right off the tree, relax around the communal fire pit, play corn hole, and stroll the beautiful orchard at sunset.

6pm - 8:30pm: Hayracks will depart from the U-Pick Apple Shed every 20 minutes between 6pm and 7:20pm, with the last rack departing for the orchard at 7:20pm. The experience is at your-own-pace.

The ticket for this event does not include a General Admissions ticket to Vala’s, which must be purchased separately.
This event is weather dependent and may be rescheduled due to rain. Guests will get advanced notice by email if the event is rescheduled. The reschedule date will be the Thursday following the event or October 10th. If you cannot make the rescheduled date, please call the Vala’s office and you will be credited a Vala’s gift card in the amount you paid. Gift cards can be picked up at Will Call.
