This Super Saturday will be professionally filmed and photographed. Please let a staff member know if you are not comfortable being on camera.
Join us for Super Saturday as we celebrate Indigenous Heritage Month! During this Super Saturday we'll learn about artforms that Native American artists have used throughout history and in contemporary art. We'll also learn how abstract shapes have shaped Indigenous art throughout history. In our Education Studio, you can create a 2D beaded painting inspired by Dyani White Hawk.
Live artist demo will take place in the Rotunda from 10am-12pm.
10a - 12p: Art making with retired elementary art teacher, Shelley Momany.
11a: Carlos Valverde, local artist, will demo a piece of art honoring his Indigenous ancestors
