Share Viles Arboretum is a free, easily accessible, botanical garden that is open from dawn to dusk, seven days a week. The space include six miles of trails, 20 botanical collections, and local stone art works (all marked and signed), on 224 acres.
Description
Join us for a hearty trailside meal at the Arboretum! Enjoy good food and good company while experiencing the Maine landscape in full fall color. As you travel a one-mile loop on our trails you will encounter four tables, each serving a portion of your meal. Take a break half way through at our community fire pit to roast a marshmallow or two. We are excited to announce a live music performance by Autumn Addicts at this years fall event!
Food for this event will be prepared by Lisa's White Flour Catering. The menu is as listed below:
- Butternut squash soup and veggie chili
- Pulled pork tacos with baked beans and coleslaw
- Baked potato with toppings
- Apple crisp.
A vegan and gluten free option is available.
We encourage participants to come dressed for the elements, as this is a rain or shine event.
Child tickets are available for children 12 and under only.
Tickets are non-refundable. A limited number of tickets are available for each timeslot.
