The Van Rensselaer Garden Club Presents

The 67th Annual Holiday Greens Show: 'Twas the Night Before Christmas

The 200th Anniversary Celebration | Hosted by the Hart Cluett Museum

Hosted by the Hart Cluett Museum, the 67th Annual Holiday Greens Show is celebrating the 200th anniversary of the poem "A Visit from St. Nicholas," first published in the Troy Sentinel, December 23rd, 1823.

Join us from November 30th - December 3rd, noon to 5pm daily, as 13 rooms of the Historic Hart-Cluett House are transformed into a rare holiday display inspired by this now world-famous poem using only fresh seasonal greens, flowers, & more!

This year, you are free to tour the house at your leisure on the day listed on your ticket purchase. Docents will be available to answer questions in each of the decorated spaces. Due to limited space, advanced ticket purchase is strongly recommended. Pay at door available, as space allows.

$15 Adults; Children under 16 Free!

*All ticket purchases are final. Tickets are transferable.

The Hart Cluett Museum is operated by Historic Rensselaer County (Rensselaer County Historical Society), a dynamic not-for-profit educational organization established in 1927 to connect local history and heritage with contemporary life. We enrich the present and advocate for the future by bringing the region's past to life, recognizing every face and every story. In pursuit of this mission, we collect, preserve, study, interpret, and make accessible a broad variety of objects and documents. We also conduct educational programs that inspire public enthusiasm for our roots and bolster the entrepreneurial appetites of our community.
