Tish Gailmard will introduce us to the American Red Wolf, how they became endangered, how we are working to save them and why the Red Wolf is important to our environment.

Speaker info: Tish Gailmard, Learning and Engagement Specialist at Reflection Riding Arboretum, Chattanooga, TN Tish considers herself very lucky to turn her passion for loving animals into an occupation. Working and educating with wildlife has become who she is, not just what she does. Tish’s days are spent teaching students and guests about wildlife and their importance to our ecology. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia and is a Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency licensed wildlife rehabilitator for mammals and rabies vector species. Tish was named the Tennessee Wildlife Federation Environmental Educator of the Year and has also been recognized as a Girls Preparatory School notable alumnae. As a passionate advocate for wildlife, Tish is the Education Chair for the American Red Wolf SAFE program, ARW SAFE management team member, and ARW blood champion. She is also a member of the Turtle SAFE program.
