Share Guitarists Amy Brucksch, Julie Goldberg and Christopher Teves blend pristine technique and nuanced musical interpretations, earning critical acclaim for their captivating concerts and varied programming. Avanti's vast repertoire ranges from Baroque to Contemporary, features newly composed music, creative transcriptions of classical masterpieces, plus an occasional rock/pop or jazz tune.
Amy, Julie, and Chris met while studying at the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of Clare Callahan. Each has gone on to pursue active careers in performance, composition, and teaching. All relish their time together collaborating and performing as a national touring ensemble. Formed in 2010, the Avanti Guitar Trio continues to expand their inspiring repertoire by composing/transcribing new works and collaborating with both established and upcoming composers.

The Columbus Guitar Society, founded by a dedicated group of classical guitarists in 1992, has grown to be one of the country’s most successful guitar societies. Under the leadership of Artistic Director, Eugene Braig, the CGS is the only organization to offer comprehensive programming for the classical guitar in the Central Ohio region.
