Hailing from the great state of Wyoming, Pathfinder will kick off The Bloomery’s 2025 Summer Concert Series. Opening for Pathfinder will be local favorite “A Band Named Sue.”
Pathfinder’s smooth sounds of Americana rock will take the audience on a journey of the human experience as they explore loss, hope and so much more. Casper based Pathfinder are life-long musicians who met through their joint love of music in a small town trying to do big things. Band mates Heath McAteer, John May, Dyllon Boyer, and Jason Murdock share a love of music, songwriting, and the beauty of the outdoors. Songwriters John and Heath dis play a profound love of the outdoors that can be heard in the lyrics they write. Jason and Dyllon’s devotion to music and imagery beautifully colors the background of their musical vision. Songs about the mountains and the human condition illustrate images of young men grappling with the best and the worst parts of life.
Suzanna Morrison is a Wyoming based musician and songwriter who delivers authentic, inspirational lyrics and driving rhythms that immediately connect with audience members. She has participated in songwriter showcases, music festivals, has written music for college vocal groups and is the songwriter and band lead of “A Banda Named Sue” based out of Casper, WY.
Dale Bohren is a string bass and electric bassist who comes from a musical Casper family. Well known as one of the phenomenal musicians making up “The Tremors”, Bohren is also the bassist for “A Band Named Sue”. “I love playing music with Suzanna Morrison. Her songs really speak to me, as they do most people, because the music is appealing and the lyrics always seem to be about people I know.”
Recently, Morrison and Bohren collaborated in writing and recording music for the short film “Carolina Rain”, currently available on streaming platforms.
We are so proud to have them at The Bloomery this summer!
The Venue: The Bloomery
Nestled amidst vast Wyoming landscapes, The Bloomery‘s farm, flowers, and beloved once-wild Wyoming horses offer a scenic backdrop for outdoor summer concerts. With its sprawling fields and rustic charm, it embodies the spirit of The West, making it an intimate venue for original music and old souls.
The Bloomery is a family farm that lies just west of Casper, Wyoming. We produce field grown seasonal flowers while continually striving to learn the best ways to care for the soil, the abundant wildlife, and the native vegetation.
We love listening to music as much as we love growing flowers. Both bring beauty and hope into our lives, and it brings us great joy to share talented musicians with our Wyoming community. Add locally prepared cuisine and beer, and the sites and sounds of nature to a summer evening and the night is just about as perfect as it can be.
Come visit the farm and experience outdoor music, Wyoming style!
