Friday Night Sessions: Fall Songwriter Series Finale at The Bunker
Mark your calendar for the grand finale of our Fall Songwriter Series! On Friday, November 29th at 8 PM, The Bunker Performance Lounge & Cafe will host three incredible songwriters in the round: Melissa Dutch, Odd Marshall, and Mitch Szitas. This is a pay-what-you-can event, with a suggested contribution of $15, where you'll experience authentic artistry in an intimate setting.
Melissa Dutch brings a fresh and impactful voice to the Canadian music scene with her powerful Alternative Folk/Rock/Soul sound. A Hamilton-based artist, Melissa’s music speaks to the outcast and embraces the beautifully unconventional. Her performances are an expression of truth and healing, echoing influences like Sarah McLachlan and Florence Welch.
Odd Marshall brings his distinct style, like the voice of a wanderer who seems to have materialized from a world all his own. Known for his thought-provoking lyrics and evocative sound, Odd Marshall’s music carries the support of Don Kerr’s production, along with a lineup of top Canadian musicians on his debut album.
Rounding out the evening, Mitch Szitas will bring his thoughtful songwriting and expressive voice to the series finale. A multi-instrumentalist from Southern Ontario, Mitch’s storytelling is engaging and thought-provoking. His music invites listeners into familiar yet intimate stories, drawing on a mix of folk influence and personal experience that resonates long after the final note.
