Join us at The Bunker Performance Lounge & Cafe for a special Saturday Matinee on May 17th at 2 PM, featuring Anthea Feaver. This pay-what-you-can event (recommended $15) invites you to experience an afternoon of storytelling and song, rooted in the rich traditions of folk music.
Anthea Feaver is a songwriter and musician with a deep love for traditional folk. With a background in community arts education and a talent for old-time fiddle and banjo, she weaves together music, history, and humour in a way that brings audiences together. Whether sharing a poignant ballad, leading a singalong, or diving into an energetic tune, Anthea’s performances are engaging and heartfelt.
Her debut album, Summer’s Morning (released September 2024), showcases her skillful fingerpicking, evocative lyricism, and lush string arrangements. She has performed at festivals such as Blue Skies Music Festival, Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival, and North Carolina Folk Festival, along with industry showcases at Folk Canada and the Northeastern Regional Folk Alliance.
Come enjoy an afternoon of music, connection, and community at The Bunker. Doors open at 1 PM, and the show starts at 2 PM. Pay what you can and settle in for a performance that celebrates the storytelling spirit of folk music.
Due to limited seating capacity, we ask that ticket holders arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to showtime to ensure reservations are held. Reserved seating will not be held past 15 minutes into showtime. Refunds may be issued in person if seats are no longer available. No refunds will be issued for no-shows.
