About the Headliner: Henry Taylor
Henry Taylor, a musical luminary with a career spanning back to 1998, has etched his name into the tapestry of the Toronto music scene. With a rich repertoire of folk-rock albums, Henry has graced iconic venues such as the Mod Club, Lee’s Palace, the Rivoli, and the Legendary Horseshoe Tavern.
In 2011, Henry Taylor embarked on a solo venture, releasing his first album, 'Midnight Lights,' as The Henry Taylor Band. His music found its way onto the national stage when songs from this album were featured in a televised Toronto Marley's hockey game on CBC in 2012.
His 2014 album, 'Settled for Love,' recorded with the Long Horse Rangers, showcased an eclectic blend of rock, blues, folk, and country. Live performances at the Cameron House, the Rivoli, and the Legendary Horseshoe Tavern solidified Henry's place as a revered artist in the Toronto music scene.
Henry's musical journey took him to Dauphin’s Countryfest in 2015 as a semi-finalist in CMT’s ‘Chevy from the Tailgate’ songwriting competition. In 2017, 'Live Wire,' released with the Long Horse Rangers, saw its official debut during Toronto Indie Week at the Dakota Tavern.
Now back in his hometown of Kitchener-Waterloo, Henry Taylor unveiled his fifth studio album, 'Good to See You,' in 2022. The album, picked up by local radio and featured on podcasts, marks a triumphant return for the singer-songwriter. Currently working on his sixth studio album, set to release in Spring 2024, Henry collaborates with renowned Nashville songwriters, promising yet another musical masterpiece.
