Melanie Peterson Band
Toronto-based singer-songwriter Melanie Peterson has built a career on crafting deeply personal songs that connect with audiences. Originally from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Melanie grew up surrounded by music, inspired by her parents’ folk performances. Over the years, she has developed a reputation as a compelling performer, with a voice that has been praised by BBC Radio as "Mary Poppins with a broken heart."
Her journey as a musician began after moving to Toronto, where she initially pursued acting, landing roles in television and film. But songwriting soon took center stage, leading to a series of acclaimed releases, including full-length albums, EPs, and holiday singles. Melanie’s music has received airplay on CBC, BBC, and numerous indie and college radio stations, and she has been recognized by organizations such as the Great American Songwriting Competition and the Colleen Peterson Award.
Her latest work continues to evolve, blending folk, pop, and rock influences into a signature sound. Having shared stages with artists like Lynn Miles and Suzie Vinnick, and having performed at major festivals such as Sound of Music, Melanie’s live show promises an engaging and emotionally resonant experience.
Neil Little
Stratford-based singer-songwriter Neil Little has been crafting original music since his teenage years. With a background in indie rock, alt-country, and folk, Neil’s career spans multiple projects, including bands like Firefly, Chrome Hearts, and Field of Tweed. His work has earned radio play on college stations and CBC, with performances at renowned venues like The Horseshoe Tavern and The Rivoli.
In 2019, Neil launched his solo career, releasing his debut EP with producer Scott Merritt. His follow-up album, An Echo Gone, was entirely self-recorded and accompanied by a visual project that was featured in the 7th Siding Film Festival. Now, with a third solo album on the way, Neil continues to refine his sound, blending thoughtful lyricism with dynamic instrumentation.
