The Highwood Centre is proud to present the Candy Cane Kids - a Holiday Musical! Produced by The Occasional Notes, this Christmas production is fun for the whole family.
Prior to the show there will be a winter carnival with games, treats and tons of fun to enjoy. After the show your family will have the opportunity to meet the cast of show as well as Santa Claus! Partial proceeds from this event will be going to support The Rowan House Society. The Rowan House provides crisis intervention, long-term support and preventative education to break the cycle of domestic abuse in our communities. The funds raised at this event will be going towards their Childrens Program which is operated by staff trained to work with children who have witnessed/experienced abuse and the developmental issues that trauma may cause. The program focuses on helping children build self-esteem, develop skills for coping and managing anxiety and repair attachment between mother and child.
