Description
Just in time for sewing in the new year, join us to swap fabric! Swapping out supplies with other creators is a great way to enthrall the creative muse and set you on a path for creation. (Plus it lets you clean out your stash!)
Participants can start arriving at 630 pm for set-up. Swap itself run from 700 pm to 730 pm.
Please note:
- not accepted: table linens, bed linens, dishcloths, towels, clothing items, knitted or crochet pieces
- trims/lace/thread spools accepted as long as it's rolled up/wrapped/bagged
- fabric must be clean/in good condition - folded or rolled up would be appreciated
- small pieces must be in a bag
- not required but helpful: label your fabrics (is it vintage? rayon? a mix? is it missing a giant triangle in the middle? is it multi yards or a 1/4 yard, etc) -
- not required but helpful: please label bags (these are scraps under 5x5, these are jelly roll strips, etc)
- cutter quilts accepted if they are clean and labeled as such (cutter quilts are vintage quilts that people buy at yard sales, whatnot, and cut apart for other projects. They're typically in poor condition when purchased but still good enough for repurposing)
- Any unclaimed/unwanted supplies can be donated to the Center at the end of class.

Tickets must be purchased online at least 12 hours before the workshop. No walk-ins. Space is limited. Tickets are non refundable so please plan accordingly before purchasing. Please have email confirmation / ticket readily available upon arrival. Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Attendees may bring non messy snacks and drinks in sealable containers. Please note that photographs will be taken throughout this workshop. These may be used by Spare Parts for marketing and publicity in our publications, on our website and in social media or in any third party publication.
