The Great Canadian Comedy Caravan is a theatre tour featuring some of Canada’s top television writers, actors and Just For Laughs Veterans.
Headliner Mike Paterson:
In a career spanning close to 30 years, Mike can truly say he’s done it all. With 17 Just For Laughs appearances, multiple cross Canada tours, his own Comedy NOW! special on CTV, and CBC’s Debaters, Mike has been featured on every main network in Canada.
Mike has also starred on television shows across the United States, including a recurring role on the Fox series The Moody’s opposite Dennis Leary and Elizabeth Perkins, Teletoon’s Toon Marty, the Disney channel MOW Bad Hair Day, The Game directed by Jacob Tierney, and Syfy’s Being Human.
Mike’s feature films include I’m Not There starring Cate Blanchett and Christian Bale, George Clooney’s directorial debut Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Last Call opposite Rhys Ifans and John Malkovich.
Mike also played Big Beard in the Emmy nominated Disney+ feature Prey, based on the Predator franchise. Also, an accomplished theatre actor, Mike has had lead roles in the Segal Centre productions of The Odd Couple, Harvey, Guys and Dolls and Glengarry Glen Ross.
In his spare time, Mike works for Main Event Wrestling (MEW) as Michael "The Mind" Paterson and manager of The Sheik Shack Wrestling Faction. Mike’s world is just a little bit wacky, a little bit unexpected and all hilarious
