Description

James Hay is a Western Canadian electric blues guitarist and singer/songwriter based out of Kelowna, British Columbia.  With thirty years of sideman experience in blues bands behind him these days you can catch James working as a solo blues act or fronting the James Hay Blues Band. The James Hay Blues Band is a hard driving, swampy, delta slide, blues, jump, jive, swing and boogie trio based out of Kelowna, B.C. Fronted by James Hay on guitar & vocals, with "Boogie Man" Blue Rooney on the bass guitar and PJ “Like the Pyjamas" Hermann on the drums. 

Original material as well as blues selections from the 1920’s to present day. Including artist such as Robert Johnson, Elmore James, Booker White, Billy Boy Arnold, Slim Harpo, Jimmy Rogers, Memphis Slim, T-Bone Walker, Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, Freddy King, Magic Sam, B.B. King, Albert King, Otis Rush, Taj Mahal, Ray Charles, Albert Collins, Buddy Guy, John Mayer, Eric Clapton, Gary Clarke Jr., North Mississippi Allstars and many more.

A wide range of musical styles can be seen on the Dream stage. Though they differ in genre, they are united in their skills. Expect to see Jazz, blues, indie, R&B, folk, punk, spoken word, reggae, rock, country, comedy, and more.

Chef Matt, who joined the Dream in 2023, offers an ethnic influence on his delectable, fresh and nutritious menu.

There's no need to print your tickets, we will greet you at the door with our guest list for the show.

Doors open 6pm (unless otherwise stated). Show starts at 8pm. Kitchen is open from 6-9pm.
