The Monster Squad – Movie Fundraiser for Save Our Cemeteries!

Spend the night with Dracula, the Mummy, Frankenstein’s Monster and Save Our Cemeteries! Our favorite surf rock band, Shark Attack!! will start things off at 6 pm.The festivities and movie will kick off at 7 pm.

There will be a costume contest for you and your canine companions (leashed dogs only and kindly pick up after your pet)

After we hand out the awards for best dressed, we’ll turn into The Monster Squad on the big screen.Food, drinks, and craft vendors will abound!

The Broadside is busy brewing up a specialty cocktail for all to enjoy. We’ll also host a raffle sponsored by local artisans and vendors (Anna’s, Dirty Coast, and more!), with winners announced after the movie.

COST: Tickets are $15 until October 16, and $20 day of the show or at the door.

This event will be held OUTSIDE so please dress appropriately. Seating can be limited so you might want to bring a chair or a blanket.The Monster Squad is rated PG-13.

Proceeds benefit Save Our Cemeteries. The ONLY non-profit touring organization in New Orleans dedicated to cemetery preservation, promotion, restoration, and education.

FAQ

  • The showtime listed for the event is the time the event starts. Doors will generally open an hour before the listed show time unless otherwise listed.
      We allow pets during the day, but not at night for music (anything after 7pm). Service animals are always allowed.
  •  Please do not park in the Broad Theater parking lot. We have a parking lot for  The Broadside and plenty street parking available on Toulouse and Lafitte. If you would like to be escorted to your car, please ask the Sheriff on duty. You may also park in the Auto Zone parking lot if they are closed. 
  •  We have a variety of seating options such as benches, picnic tables, chairs, and stools. You are welcome to bring your own chairs, if you require a seat for health reasons or disability, please ask a staff member and they can provide you with a chair.
