From their modest beginning, a gathering in the meeting room in the now defunct Bruno’s grocery store, six women who comprise The Mystic Order of East Alabama Fiction Writers’ only objective was to write. So began a twenty year relationship generating a seven season podcast, five books, and a new family tree.

Their latest book is a departure from fiction writing (as their name suggests). The Mystic Order has now penned a memoir, The Mystic Memoir, From Mirth to Infinity (And Beyond).

The six women; Gail Langley, Marian Carcache, Margee Bright Ragland, Joanne Camp, Katie Jackson, and Mary Dansak; enjoy sharing their secrets and stories…stories as varied as the authors themselves... antique dealer, journalist, artist, attorney, and educators. These labels don’t begin to reflect the varied talents of the six authors.
