Join us for the ultimate 2025 Academy Awards watch party at the Bancroft Village Playhouse! Cheer on your favourite nominees, revel in the winners, and have tons of fun with your friends, family, and neighbours. If you've ever joined us for a TIFF Film Circuit Bancroft movie, then you know how great it is to watch something on the big screen in the theatre!
Some exciting parts of the night include...
-A COSTUME CONTEST! Come dressed as your favourite performer/movie. There will be a prize for best costume!
-Strut your stuff on the purple carpet, with tons of opportunities for photos!
-Fill out an Oscar ballot with your winning predictions and you might just win a prize!
-Grab snacks and refreshing beverages from our concessions stand throughout the evening!
Make a night of it and visit our friends at the Granite and the Bancroft Brew Pub for dinner before the show! They'll be offering a special Oscars-themed dinner and cocktails.
The Granite will offer an appetizer, prime rib, and themed cocktail.
The Bancroft Brewpub will offer The Hollywood Martini (vodka, chambered, pineapple juice) and the Golden Glamour cocktail (tequila, cherry brandy, grapefruit juice, lime). Plus an exciting featured meal that will be announced soon!

TWEED & COMPANY Theatre is a registered charity, and is a creator and producer of Original Canadian Musical Theatre, as well as quality professional grassroots regional theatre. The company has been active since the fall of 2009, and has produced several large scale original Canadian musicals, as well as countless other Canadian productions. Tweed & Company is based in Hastings County, and owns and operates The Marble Arts Centre, as well as operating the Bancroft Village Playhouse, and the Tweed & Company Outdoor Stage.
