On October 18th, Scarlet Lane Brewing Company welcomes the return of Rutgers Psychiatry Professor Anthony Tobia for another Psychology of Horror event! This will be a special 30th anniversary presentation on Wes Craven’s NEW NIGHTMARE!
Attendees will have a chance to experience a lesson directly out of Tobia’s course “Reviewing Mental Disorders with a Reverent Understanding of the Macabre”. Also known as REDRUM, the goal is for students to be able to identify various mental disorders presented on screen and lend those details to a possible diagnosis. Tobia appeared on Amy Nicholson’s wildly successful HALLOWEEN UNMASKED podcast in 2018 to provide an explanation on the mental disorder of Michael Myers. This will be his fifth “Psychology of Horror” event at Scarlet Lane Brewing Company.
The Psychology of Wes Craven's NEW NIGHTMARE is a free event but seats MUST be reserved ahead of time.
