Los Locos Duo - Michael Martinez and Stella Savy
Los Locos will get you moving with their infectious rhythms combining Latin and stylistic influences from around the world. Featuring local musicians from the Surf Coast, Geelong and Ballarat Los Locos are about having fun and enjoying the music.
The duo combines a rich Tijuana sound with hypnotic percussion and strong influences from the band leader's Spanish roots.
THE SOLO LOUNGE is a Ballarat Concert Series created to showcase local Australian music in the incredible atmosphere of the 1887 Heritage-listed Ballarat Trades Hall.
Recent technical upgrades to Trades Hall supported by Creative Victoria have assisted in the creation of a lush performance space with top quality lighting and sound to showcase our local and touring performers.
You are not just seeing someone play guitar in the corner while live sport is on in the background or struggling to be heard over the loud folks at the Bar – the whole show is about listening to the performer and giving them the respect of a true Concert setting.
These shows are a dream for local solo performers and we are endeavouring to document as much of the series as possible with our partners H Squared Studios.
The Artist fees (only) for the Series have been supported by The Victorian Government’s
‘10,000 Gig Program’ . Promotion, Design and Production are supported by Ballarat Regional Trades and Labour Council and H Squared Studios.

There have been a sea of local venues presenting live music that have closed down in the last 5 years - if you want to see live music in Ballarat, please get out there and support the few Venues that are continuing to support live music.
