We are excited to welcome you to DIW's The Spirit of Kwanzaa 2024 Info Session! This info session is for interested participants to learn more about what the production entails. Attendees can expect to receive information regarding commitment, expectations, and the overall artistic process. The goal for this session is to allow potential participants to grasp the Who, What, Where, When and most importantly, the WHY. WHY does The Dance Institute of Washington present The Spirit of Kwanzaa and how has it impacted the arts community at large. 

The session will end with dancers learning some dance phrases of existing Spirit of Kwanzaa repertoire to get a taste of our artistic identity in preparation for audition day! Think of this as an opportunity to know what you’re walking into on audition day.
